#SpiritualSunday #PursuingPerfectionOrExcellence The 'Weight of Worldly Perfection' Does this sound familiar?
Sometimes we measure our worth with the success of our work, We feel frustrated or depressed when things don't go as planned or when we have failed at something miserably, Perhaps the thought of failure create stress or discourages you from exploring new horizons? I am sure we all can relate to these thoughts, I surely can! I have fallen victim to those thoughts on more than one occasion allowing them to affect my decisions related to my well-being. It is never a pleasant experience for ourselves or those around us when we don't separate our identity from what we do. It creates an unproductive environment of obsessing because our because our best is never enough which leads to frustration eventually puts a damper on our happiness and affecting our health. When we have a mindset for excellence we strive to do our best, but don’t make it a personal matter if we don't achieve the results that we want because we know we are not in control, God is. We simply show up and focus on doing the best that we can and leave the rest in God’s hands. Rest in Biblical Excellence Debra Vogel
