Are you living your "Life in Overflow"? I have no idea where you are at in your journey, but I do know that this thing call life can be messy especially when the rug is pulled out from under our feet when we least expect it. In the midst of it all, I have found my greatest joy when I leaned away from the things of the world and opened my heart to our great God. This doesn't mean that you won't experience heartache or you will never suffer and that things will always be peachy keen. We are a work in progress getting some things right and other things wrong in the mix of great days and others that we wish we could just erase; But When we "Lean on Him" regardless of our ever-changing circumstances and inconsistencies we can experience joy and peace in a life of abundance knowing the promise that I can do all this through him who gives me strength Philippians 4:13 When we let the following tools be our symphony of music and lyrics intertwined during our walk with him; it is then that we find ourselves performing in true hope. And joy. The "Power in the tongue" Welcome "Hope" by speaking life words rather than death words. The "Power of a Thankful Heart" Give thanks in all circumstances even when you don't feel like it. The "Power of Thought" Journal your way to success by writing words of inspiration or ideas that you have throughout the day. "Position yourself for Victory" - View life through a different lens by stepping out of your comfort zone. Choose to align with God. Unlock the treasure chest God has inside of you, Lean into Life today, tomorrow and the next creating joy, peace and abundance during your journey. Debra Vogel #SpiritualSunday #LeanIntoLife
What "Loosen your Grip to your own ways and embrace God's Design" ? Lean not into your own plan, but "God's Plan" for you" Is this even possible living in our society that encourages holding on tight to the power of me, me and me? How we love the illusion of self - control which enables us to get so caught up in achieving our goals that we forget about the blue print that God has in mind for us. Psalm 46:10 “Be Still and know that I am God,” In order to experience the glory of God's all-sufficiency sometimes we need to take time out of our busy world and pause long enough to reflect and hear Him! * Are we heading the direction towards the purpose that He has planned for us? * Have we surrendered to our own ways while letting God be present and be our guide during our journey? Committing to "God's Plan" which usually differs from our plan means that we may need to “die to ourselves” and develop a relationship with Him in our daily lives. A relationship where we Seek and Hear Him and live Christlike in all circumstances with the love, grace, and mercy we have received from Him. When we embrace the amazing plan God has for us, "Our Mess becomes a Masterpiece" Debra Vogel |
